Last night I couldn't sleep so I decided I'd clean out from under my bed and I found my school agenda. On every page theres a random fact and I wrote down all the ones that were interesting to me. [:

Here we go:

  • There are about 100 occurrences of lightning every second around the world.
  • The giant salamander can grow to be 5ft long, making it the worlds largest amphibian.
  • The stegosaurus dinosaur grew to nearly 30ft long but its brain was the size of a walnut.
  • There are 60,000 miles of blood vessels in the human body.
  • Ants do not sleep.
  • Astronauts are unable to burp in space, that can't cry either.
  • An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain.
  • Montana moutain goats can butt their heads so hard, their hooves fall off.
  • Hawaii moves 4 inches closer to Japan every year.
  • It is impossible to sneeze with your eyes open.

Friendly Toast tomorrow! [:
